Using Qualia

• You can browse Qualia without an account. To rate, comment, or use social features, you'll need to sign in.
• You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account.
• You're responsible for activity under your account — keep your sign-in secure.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the ratings, comments, and other content you create.
• By posting it on Qualia, you give us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it as part of running the service.
• Don't post content that's illegal, hateful, harassing, infringing, or spammy. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Qualia — for example, by breaking the law, abusing or harassing others, trying to break or overload the service, scraping it in bulk, or impersonating someone else.

Our intellectual property

Qualia — including its name, logo, design, and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the service as intended, but you may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it without our permission.

Movie and TV data

Title information and images come from third parties and belong to their respective owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Such data may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on Qualia infringes your copyright, email support@qualia-app.com with a description of the work, where the infringing content is, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the use isn't authorized. We'll review and remove infringing content where appropriate.

The service is provided "as is"

Qualia is offered as-is, without warranties. We work to keep it running and useful, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that ratings reflect any particular standard.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Qualia isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.

Indemnification

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to cover us for losses, costs, or claims that arise from your misuse of Qualia or your breach of these terms.

Ending access

You can stop using Qualia and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled by the courts located there. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the mandatory protections of your local law and may be able to bring a claim where you live.

The fine print

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, that isn't a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Qualia. You can't transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours as part of a business change such as a merger or sale.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above.
